Govt monetises highways with 390 km length through InvITs in FY22

The National Highways Authority of India has monetised projects with total length of 390 km in the current financial year through the infrastruc­ture investment trust or InvIT model, the roads and highways ministry said in a press release today. The projects monetised had a concession value of 73.5 bln rupees and capital expenditur­e of nearly 5 bln rupees. Concession value is the discounted value of potential revenue that an asset can generate over a period of time
