APP KE SAATH: Yogi plans to modernise Madrasa edu

Students of Madrasas would be taught about the luminaries and freedom fighters of the country. The Yogi government has decided to develop a mobile APP to impart modern education. The state minister for minorities’ welfare, Danish Azad Ansari said the App would help Madrasas modernize the style of teaching. He said very soon, the entire education system in UP Madrasas would be modernized and new techniques are likely to be introduced. According to him, the idea behind changing the curriculum of Madrasas is to instill the feeling of Rashtra

bhakti among its students.

Bihar Vidhan Sabha polls: Major losses for NDA

PATNA: Ruling NDA in Bihar suffered major losses in the elections to the Bihar Vidhan Parishad from local bodies constituen­cies. Rabri Devi, former chief minister, would be able to get the status of leader of Opposition in Vidhan Parishad. Sachchidan­anad Rai, the sitting BJP MLC who was denied renominati­on from Saran constituen­cy, was declared elected with a massive margin. BJP's Dharmendra Singh was placed third with only 254 votes. In Munger, Ajay Kumar Singh of RJD defeated JDU’s Sanjay Prasad.Munger is represente­d by the national president of JDU, Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh in Lok Sabha. In Begusarai, Congress’ Rajiv Kumar defeated the national secretary of BJP and sitting MLC, Rajnish Kumar.
