The Vastu guidelines for homemakers:

Homemakers and wives are mostly live in a house. They spent their most valuable time with kitchen, homemaking, decorating and other household jobs. If they go through the guidelines of Vaastu, their family and life will be more fruitful in contrast to usual. Some of the most important rules are mentioned here:

For the progress of house, the idols of Ganesh, Laxmi, and Kubera should be kept on top of the entrance door. This restricts the bad aspects and spirits to enter in to the home.

The water tank should not be placed on top of the Eshan corner. Water tank must be place at Nairuta, by leaving a space to the wall.

The dustbin, dusts, and unclean materials should not place in the Eshan corner. Dusts should not keep for a long time in any places inside the house.

North is the place of Kubera, who is the lord of wealth. Therefore, this place should be kept for treasury or money rack. However, the door or opener must be faced towards north direction.

Sofa set and other heavy furniture must be placed at southwest direction. Northeast direction should be empty or vacate. If necessary, some lightweigh­t objects may be kept.

TV set, computer, Video player can be put at Vayavya (southeast) corner. If want to kept permanentl­y then, it can be placed at Nairuta (southwest) direction.

Heavy mixer, grinder and other heavy weight objects should placed in south or Nairuta direction.

The animal shed, their eatable items can be placed in the Nairuta or west direction.

The head side of cot or bed should be kept towards south or east direction.

Aquarium should be kept in north corner of drawing room. Otherwise, picture of water or fishes may keep.
