Oracle’s Q2 revenue inches up
Oracle Corp reported a smaller-than-expected rise in quarterly adjusted revenue as the company’s sales from countries outside the US were weighed down by a stronger dollar. Its total adjusted revenue inched up to $9.07 billion in the second quarter ended November 30 from $9 billion a year ago. Analysts on average were expecting revenue of $9.12 billion,according to Thomson Reuters. Sales of cloud software and platform as services rose 81.4 per cent to $878 million, according to research firmFactSet StreetAccount.
