AAP to host mega Op­po­si­tion rally in Delhi; Cong un­likely to at­tend

In the run up to the Lok Sabha polls, Delhi’s rul­ing Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will host a mega rally of non-BJP lead­ers in the na­tional cap­i­tal on Fe­bru­ary 13.

The rally is against Prime Min­is­ter Naren­dra Modi-led govern­ment at the Cen­tre.

lead­ers will at­tend it,” se­nior Aam Aadmi Party leader Gopal Rai told me­dia. It will be at­tended by all those present at Ma­mata Ban­er­jee’s Kolkata rally last month, he said.

How­ever, sources said, the Congress is un­likely to par­tic­i­pate in the rally that will be at­tended by Ma­mata Ban­er­jee and Chan­drababu Naidu among other Op­po­si­tion lead­ers.

With the Lok Sabha elec­tions a few months away, the rally will help to unite Op­po­si­tion lead­ers and firm up a ‘ma­ha­gath­band­han’ to chal­lenge the BJP-led NDA, they said.
