Underground Metro

I wonder why the proposed Old City Metro line cannot be built underground. It will be expensive but the benefits include no land acquisition issues, easier alignment planning, faster implementation and, most important, no disturbance to people living above.

London built its metro lines underground around 150 years ago.

Encroached roads

In many places in the city, eateries and pushcart vendors not only occupy the service roads but also the main roads as evident from the scenes on the Dilsukhnagar main road. Buyers are eventually parking their vehicles in front of these establishments, turning the four lanes into two. S.V.N. Vijayendra New Gayathrinagar

Dog menace

We request the GHMC to end the dog menace on Warasiguda main road. Many riders fall down when dogs chase them. P.V. Madhu Nivriti

Defunct traffic lights

The three traffic lights, installed over three years ago near Bowenpally Market yard, Diamond Point junction and Trimulgherry substation road junction, do not work, causing much inconvenience to commuters, especially during the rush hours.
