andeep Sharma’s ve-wicket haul and Yashasvi Jaiswal’s sublime unbeaten century propelled Rajasthan Royals to a nine-wicket win over Mumbai Indians at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium here on Monday.
Returning to the XI for the rst time in almost a month, Sandeep showed no signs of rustiness as he nished with gures of 4-018-5, his best in T20s, before the young left-hander sealed the deal with his maiden century of the season.
Chasing a target of 180, Jaiswal (104 n.o., 60b, 9x4, 7x6) and Jos Buttler gave the Royals a brisk start in the PowerPlay, scoring 61.
Rain then delayed proceedings for around 40 minutes. Once the players returned to the eld, veteran leg-spinner Piyush Chawla castled Buttler for 35. Jaiswal, though, did not allow the Mumbai Indians bowlers to take the initiative, counter-attacking in the company of captain Sanju Samson.
