Students should utilise the vast opportunities in the healthcare sector, says APSSDC MD

Nurses and midwives play a central role in all health systems. Encouraging globalised nursing can usher in new opportunities in nursing, as it creates avenues for integrated healthcare, said CEO and Managing Director (MD) of Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) Vinod Kumar.
Speaking after signing a tripartite agreement with Cura Personal and Andhra Pradesh Nurses and Midwives’ Council (APNMC) as part of a Skill International
Programme on Friday, he said students should make use of the vast opportunities in the healthcare sector, especially in countries like Germany.
He said the aspirants would have to learn German and other etiquettes followed in that country through organisations with which the Skill Development Corporation was forging a partnership.
He said the collaboration will facilitate training to nursing graduates in German language in A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels, training in German etiquette and placement of the students in renowned hospitals in Germany.
APSSDC Executive Director G. Anil Kumar, State Skill Development Officer Rehana Khan, Associate Manager Vinay Bhushan and Guntur District Skill Development Officer Pranay, Deputy Director of APNMC B. Valli, Principal of St. Joseph’s College of Nursing, Guntur Sr. N. Victoria, viceprincipal Lissy Thomas and coordinator of healthcare and social apstolate M. Cletus and CEO of Cura Personal Krishna Javeju and Director Hemanth Appanna were present.
Earlier on Thursday, APSSDC signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Inspire India Pvt. Ltd. to enhance the employability skills of the unemployed youth by offering both online and offline training for Statelevel and nationallevel competitive exams.
