The Indo Cine Ap­pre­ci­a­tion Foun­da­tion, in as­so­ci­a­tion with the Cul­ture House of the Is­lamic Repub­lic of Iran, Mum­bai, is or­gan­is­ing an Ira­nian Film Fes­ti­val from Fe­bru­ary 11 to Fe­bru­ary 13 at Al­liance Française. The films are:

I Am Taraneh, I Am Fif­teen Years Old (Fe­bru­ary 11, 6 pm)

Fif­teen-year-old Taraneh, whose wid­owed father is in jail, re­fuses the un­wanted at­ten­tions of car­pet sales­man Amir — un­til Amir’s mother talks Taraneh into ac­cept­ing Amir’s mar­riage pro­posal. Within four months the cou­ple find out that they are in­com­pat­i­ble and have to ap­ply for di­vorce.

The Colour of Par­adise (Fe­bru­ary 11, 7.45 pm)

The tale of a child whose in­abil­ity to see the world only en­hances his abil­ity to feel its pow­er­ful forces.

Crazy Cas­tle (Fe­bru­ary 12, 6 pm)

The story of young friends who met on the In­ter­net and their path in life.

Sweet Taste of Imag­i­na­tion (Fe­bru­ary 12, 7.45 pm)

A pro­fes­sor and his stu­dent have one thing in com­mon: they’re both dream­ers. Their love story is en­dan­gered when a busi­ness com­peti­tor comes into the pic­ture.

Alzheimer (Fe­bru­ary 13, 6 pm)

A man has a car ac­ci­dent and has Alzheimer’s and must now face a dif­fer­ent new world.

Wet Dream (Fe­bru­ary 13, 7.35 pm)

Af­ter years of liv­ing with his mother, a young­ster has to go live with his father. Once there, he vis­its a girl who changes his life.
