At Forum we showcase artworks that embrace the gallery’s sensibilities from across the country. We present engaging works in various mediums that include paintings, sculpture, installations, cartoon art, and new media.

What does a gallery expect from an artist?

The gallery’s expectation from an artist is to be consistent and true to his/her art.

Describe your perfect artist?

A successful artist is one who has skill and creativity and is articulate and clear in thought and speech.

Do you encourage young artist?

Definitely. We are flooded with artist portfolios everyday and it’s my keen eye that picks the talent from the pile. We then nurture the artists and expose their work in exhibitions at Forum.

Do you think the gallery scene has changed?

An art gallery is a long term business proposition driven by an elastic market. Over the years there are bound to be changes in the demand and supply that most often trend with market changes. How we see and sell art too is dynamic, and no longer confined to physical walls. I believe the change in the future will impact in a positive way and we have to brace ourselves to meet the challenges.
