Actor Parineeti Chopra’s heavenly home
The living room of Parineeti’s home emits a modern chic vibe. The design envisioned for this beautiful home is an amalgamation of modern meets vintage. The living and the den are separated by a door that celebrates the herringbone pattern achieved with veneer and bison board, the den houses a lavish white library cum TV unit with few niches hand painted in poppy colours and the same choice of colors reflecting in the knobs. The dining reflects a chic swag with the black and white herring bone pattern in the floor with sea green and black slate stone, the dining chairs in varying colorful upholstery. The black and white combination also reflects in the white exposed brick wall with black telephone installation. The telephone installation on the wall above the console in the living all give a quirky edge to the home. The vertical garden and the pebbled stone pathway in the balcony make for a zen comfortable outdoor space to be around. The master bedroom with its veneer paneling on walls meeting the ceiling in an arch, the pure white in the ceiling is almost reflected in the white bed and side tables with pops of colour in the soft furnishings and the hand-painted drawer fronts. The room reflects a modern classy vibe with little pops of fun elements reflecting Parineeti’s personality. The dressing space with the walk in wardrobe is made to cater to all possible storage needs - a glamorous feel to the dresser is added by the bulb lighting while the painted white deco dresser makes for an elegant space to get dressed, the sofa in baby pink adds that little quirky pop to the room. The master bath’s design appeals in its simplicity and play of materials. The client’s love for travel was reflected in the design by having names of countries engraved in brass on dessert teak stone as wall cladding. The combination of white mint stone and wooden flooring coupled with wooden herring bone pattern for door makes for an elegant master bathroom.
The powder room has an industrial chic feel with its sewing machine counter support, arched cement ceiling with old school industrial lights complimenting the wall finish and black slate stone. The brass in the scissor lights, mirror and basin bowl unites the room together into one seamless fabric. Along with having a very sophisticated vibe, the home also has its share of fun quirky elements. In all, the drastic contrast in all the elements of the spaces come together in a beautiful way to make an elegant vibrant space to live in.
