Opened first in 1924, the 232 lux­u­ri­ous bed­room ho­tel which specif­i­cally holds two glo­ri­ous play­ground, “Lit­tle Glen & The Den”, of­fer­ing younger guests an ex­cit­ing new ad­ven­ture. Lit­tle Glen is a colour­ful, vi­brant and fully su­per­vised crèche for 2 – 9 years old and a fun play en­vi­ron­ment for happy tots, ad­ven­tur­ous spir­its and cu­ri­ous minds. With bright, fresh colour schemes, dif­fer­ent tex­tures and tac­tile fur­nish­ings, as well as an arts and crafts work­shop, the space has been de­signed to stim­u­late play, in­ter­ac­tion and learn­ing. With a coun­try­side theme, Lit­tle Glen fea­tures an in­door tree house; toy camp­fire and te­pees; play sta­bles with hobby horses; Gle­nea­gles rail­way car­riage; and pre­tend grass floor­ing scat­tered with ‘cud­dly’ wildlife chairs. The Den is an un­su­per­vised area for 6 – 15 years old which has been spe­cially de­signed as a hang­out and re­cre­ation space for older chil­dren and young teenagers. The Den’s se­ries of linked rooms con­tain ev­ery­thing from PS4s, Xboxes, arts and crafts, pool and air hockey, to tra­di­tional games like Chi­nese Check­ers, Domi­noes, Backgam­mon and Cha­rades.
