Today the environment around us is highly polluted. The metros are slowly, but steadily turning into concrete jungles. Trees are getting either pruned or completely hacked in the garb of development. What are we giving our coming generations – nothing but pure garbage. It is magazines like TIHG that is spreading awareness among the new generation about the benefits of growing trees in our close vicinity and plants withing the four walls of our homes through Green House articles. As an environmentalist, and an enthusiastic reader, I have a simple request to the Editor - try and incorporate more articles on how to bring the outdoors indoor. In this way the young generation will at least show an inclination towards growing more trees. Abhinav Deshmukh (Environmentalist), Pune
