My recent visit to Japan was very insightful, especially visiting architectural sites, and museums that were focused on all things ceramics. I am glad that I visited the INAX Museum, which allowed me to witness a wide range of tiling ideas from wall to floor. I was amazed to see the patterns under my feet. Talking to experts on this subject, I realised that flooring is a vital aspect that binds the entire room together. Without ideal flooring, the design element will still not look right. Choosing the ideal flooring for your room requires a lot of consideration.

The foremost being that the floor needs to withstand wear and tear, since it will feel the most impact of everyday life. To know more about this, immerse yourself in our October issue. The power packed pages feature 20+ flooring ideas that are not only in trend, but are also unusual and interesting.
