What kind of projects interest you?

I enjoy designing people’s homes more than commercial spaces. Giving somebody a house that they love gives me just as much happiness as them.

Celebrity homes designed by you?

I had the honour of designing Ronit and Neelam Roy’s home.

What details do you take care of while designing celeb spaces?

Before I start running, I think it is essential to spend time with your client and understand their taste in order to fix a direction. I usually begin with planning the space and giving it a larger expanse. Natural lighting and greens play a big role for me in creating a cozy home. My maximum effort is always devoted to visualising the look of the whole house in detail, and selecting materials around the look, I rarely deviate from it.

What are the usual requirements of celebrities for their homes?

Since they are in the film industry, they have high appreciation for art, so their homes usually revolves around that theme. Since their professional life is quite hectic, it is important as a designer to make their home a very comfortable and relaxing space with touches of modern aesthetic appeals.

If you get an opportunity to design Bachchan’s or Shahrukh’s home, what aspects would you keep in mind?
