In­done­sian Spicy Grilled Potato

Peel and slice the potato in one inch thick cubes. Im­merse in cold wa­ter and let it sit for 15-20 min­utes. Pre-heat the grill with oil. Drain the pota­toes and pat dry. Toss in one ta­ble­spoon oil and a lit­tle salt. Make a skewer with potato. Grill the skewer, add but­ter and chilli sam­bal. Once com­pletely coated, add sesame seeds, gar­nish with spring onion, and serve hot.


1 large sweet potato or reg­u­lar pota­toes (about 16 ounces)

1 tbsp oil

2 tbsp chilli sam­bal

2-3 pcs cor­rian­der root

2-3 gar­lic cloves (grated)

2 sprigs spring onion Churched chilli

Black pep­per (grounded)

Sesame oil

Sesame seeds

Skewer sticks

Salt to taste
