Studio Lisboeta
Based on the idea that our society is becoming increasingly nomadic and aesthetically conscientious, Studio Lisboeta created a portable travel house, which looks like a super-sized travelling bag, with elements like the snug space, window and feeding bowl designed to keep the dog happy and entertained. Their concept plays with the collective memory of objects and scale. To make the best use of the beautiful wood, base models were sustainably created for curves from only four, instead of 38 construction grade plywood boards, thus reducing waste. Each one of the 156 pieces have been
CNC cut and meticulously assembled in a jigsaw process. Also, they prefer simple, bold and playful designs accentuated by contrasting patterns or colours.
