Wurfel Kuche and its novel plans for the future

Brief us about the current scenario in the modular kitchen industry?

The modular kitchen industry is on a rising trajectory. There is a lot of demand in the market due to constant changes and upgradation in lifestyle. The modular kitchen industry is split in two sectors – the organised and the un-organised. The organised sector is as small as 15 per cent, but growing at a rate of more than 50 per cent YOY.

Würfel Küche has changed the concept of kitchen designs with their latest addition, “My Story” series. Could you brief us about that?

Considered as heart of the home, we, at Würfel Küche, have constantly focused on innovation and making the kitchen a great place to work and socialise. One of our biggest innovations was added towards the end of last year – “My Story” series that was hand-sculpted kitchens for the first time ever across the globe. This takes personalisation to the next level. One can get their story sculpted on the kitchen as per their desire or imagination. This is the first time in India that a modular kitchen brand is working on lots of designs to make Indian cooking a more friendly and exciting process for the entire family.

What can we expect from Würfel Küche in 2019?

We believe in surprises and this year will be no less. The biggest one being the launch of Würfel Homes. This will be a one-stop solution for all interior requirements where one can just hand-over the keys to us and walk-in with the luggage once the home is ready. Würfel aims at doing things differently and therefore Würfel Homes is coming up with one-of-its-kind showroom spread across 20,000 sqft in Banaswadi, Bengaluru by end of March 2019. Besides this, we are already 31 studios across the country at this moment and looking to take this number to 50 by the end of this year. We would also have many new colours and finishes added to our line of collections.
