LIGHT IT UP
VOA Collection from Serip takes inspiration from Portuguese soul and a dramatic game of shadows and light. The use of technology and materials to present the flawless beauty found in nature is achieved through unique handcrafted techniques and with a blend of superb materials like glass and bronze. This marvellous species of swallows known as “Hirundo Rustica” presents spectacular ballets where they paint the skies like ballerinas. Their funnel-shaped bodies are also a Portuguese icon, which translates our soul in movements and shapes. The unfindable configurations that they perform allow this singular collection to create beautiful visual compositions. Either in suspension or standing on the walls, they create a dramatic game of shadows and light. (S.T. Unicom)
STYLE SEATS
The Cotone range of products by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Cassina expands with a new comfortable sofa that is characterised by the same distinctive frame in extruded aluminum. Available in four colours - grey-blue, red, champagne and graphite, the Cotone sofa is available in an elegant modular version with a low backrest as well as a two or three seater sofa with an embracing high back that, thanks to an internal mechanism in its armrest, has adjustable side cushions, which make it even more comfortable. The collection is completed with two low tables in the same colours as the sofa’s frame and a wide selection of matte marble tops, and three light and easy to move coffee tables with a grey-blue, red or champagne aluminium and top.
READ HAPPINESS
Designed by Andrea Morgante Shiro Studio for EXTO, Moscova is a bookcase available in two variants - black gray carnico marble and black lacquered ash-wood and calacatta gold marble and canaletto walnut wood. According to the designer, Moscova represents an intimate and personal portrait of Milan’s urban fabric and its street, seen as an ordered and romantic landscapes of stone volumes and elevations.
TICK VERSATILITY
The Aerozeppelin sofa from the Diesel Living Collection for Moroso was designed as a large “platform” frame, finished with compact and soft pillows that line its back and armrests. This leaves you to use the sofa’s styling at will, according to your needs. The system is simple: the back pillows are made to rotate - they can lay both vertically or horizontally - for two different configurations that make the seat deeper or shallower.
