The fulfillment of a long standing dream of the co-founder Neha Gupta, is what Beyond Designs Bistro represents. And that dream has been handled with utmost care and precision, to facilitate a setup where the customers can enjoy sumptuous Modern European cuisine, while shopping from a selection of thoughtfully curated home accessories. Located within the Beyond Designs’ flagship store on M G Road, this bistro is given a clean sophisticated look with stand-out white marble table tops, classic sofas in irresistible exotic prints and impressive chandeliers of vintage look. As the second offspring of an extremely successful restaurant, Chin Chin Chu in Lower Parel is a beautifully envisioned restaurant in itself. Split into two levels, this restaurant offers its patrons a cheerfully bright setup in the lower dining area, and a chic setup in the one above.
It is the ideal setup for casual brunches with its massive skylight, overhanging balcony and lounge area. A massive selection of Asian cuisines is on offer here, with special attention given to the incredible dimsum options on offer. Evidently Chin Chin Chu is all set to match its Juhu counterpart, both in terms of the quality of food and ambiance offered.

Bent Chair has designed and furnished this impeccable restaurant from what was previously a decrepit heritage property that had art and architectural elements that are undeniable keepsakes of the 20th century. Revived relics like a giant gargoyle still greet the patrons amidst the carefully maintained green entrance to the space. Inside, modern middle eastern cuisine is served in the refashioned interiors, where a unifying oval ceiling brings together the old and new. The ghost bar on the outside is a particular vision by virtue of the visible old structure being beautifully repurposed and showcased as a definite highlight. This historic restoration is a definite success in paying its homage to the past, while incorporating the best of all that is appropriate and new.
