Yogi brings up Pak in Rampur: ‘Enemy scared of new India’
INVOKING PAKISTAN while campaigning for the BJP in Rampur and Amroha Lok Sabha constituencies, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said the “enemy” is scared of new India now.
Adityanath said that in the past, pakistanusedtoengineerexplosions in India but now if even a firecrackerisbursthere, aclarification is issued quickly that they are not involved, he said on Wednesday.“theenemyisfrightened now. They know that the new India does not speak much but storms into their country throughairstrikesandkillsterrorists. Such changes have not happened overnight but were made possibleundertheableleadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji since 2014,” he said.
In Rampur, Adityanath also took an apparent jibe at the jailed Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan. ”Earlier, the police in UP used to be busy searching for the stolen buffalo of a political leader even as cow smugglers used to fleewithcattlekeptonthepremises of people's houses. And there wasnoonetopayheedtothepeople's complaints.”
He added that after 2017, the scenario changed completely because the same cow smugglers, mafia and criminal elements are now carrying placards around their necks to save themselves from police action.
The BJP has fielded sitting MP Ghanshyam Lodhi in Rampur, where polling will be held in the first phase on April 19. Kunwar Singh Tanwar is its candidate in Amroha, whichwillgotothepolls on April 26. In 2019, this seat was wrested by Danish Ali, who was the BSP nominee. Danish Ali is again in the fray this time, as a Congress candidate.
In Sikheda town in the Garh Mukteshwar Assembly constituency of Amroha Lok Sabha, thecmreiteratedthatintheforthcoming Lok Sabha elections, the “Bjpcandidatesarenotcontesting to ensure victory but to widen their victory margin.”
“Earlier, you voted for a wrong personandyourealisedyourmistake when your MP refused to chant Bharat Mata ki jai in
Parliament.” Khate yahan ka lekin matrubhoomikijaibolnesekatrate hai (Such people survive on resources of our country but refrain from respecting their motherland), said the CM. But this time there would be no confusion on voting day, he added.
People have estimated in advance and they are confident of the election results on June 4. But for the sake of formality, I have cometoaskyouforgettingthebjp candidateselectedatyourrespective places. The point now is not aboutjustwinningbutincreasing the victory margin for the BJP and its alliance candidates,” Adityanath said in Sikheda.
