In Amroha, Modi hits out at Danish Ali: ‘Can he be allowed to enter Parliament?’

Takes dig at Pak in MP, slams Cong for not attending Ram temple event

CAMPAIGNIN­G FOR the BJP in Amroha LS seat Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeted sitting MP and Congress nominee Danish Ali, accusing him of having objections in chanting “Bharat Mata ki jai”.

“Will a person, who cannot accept Bharat Mata ki jai, look good in the Indian Parliament? Should such a person who does not like to pay gratitude to his motherland be allowed to enter Parliament,” he asked the people at the Gajraula rally, referring to the local MP.

Last september, danish ali was the target of BJP MP Ra mesh Bidhuri’s communal slurs on the floor of ls. that matter is before the lok Sabha’s Privileges Committee.

Meanwhile, in a veiled attack on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and SP president Akhilesh Yadav, Modi said, “The shooting of the film, ‘do shehzade ki jodi (pair of two princes)’, is going on. But their film has already been rejected. Every time these people go out to seek votes from the people of UP, they carry a basket of dynasties, corruption and appeasemen­t,” he said.

Referring to his recent visit to Dwarka where he dived off in the Arabian Sea to offer prayers at the underwater city of Dwarka, Modi said, “When I was in Dwarka recently... I witnessed signs of the sunken town and worshipped Lord Krishna myself but Congress ke shehzade kehta hai ki samunder ke niche puja karne layak kuch hai nahi (but the prince of Congress says there is nothing to offer prayers to in the sea at Dwarka)... Those in Bihar who say they are Yaduvanshi­s, in UP, the leader who takes the benefits of being a Yaduvanshi, I want to ask them, how can they sit with a party that insults Lord Krishna?” Modi said, referring to Congress, SP and RJD being part of the Opposition INDIA bloc.

Meanwhile, in MP’S Damoh district Friday, Modi emphasised the BJP government at the Centre is “neither intimidate­d nor bows down to anyone”, and took a veiled dig at Pakistan, saying that “a supplier of terrorism (aatank), is now struggling for flour (atta)”.

Speaking in the Bundelkhan­d region of MP, Modi batted for a strong country amid global turmoil and said that “India needs a government that can navigate it through times of war”.

“This election is to make the country a major world power... ,” he said. “A neighbouri­ng country of India, which was a supplier of terrorism, is now struggling for flour. In such global conditions, India is developing the fastest in the world,” the PM said.

Attacking congress over doing “vote bank politics” by “rejecting” the invitation to the consecrati­on ceremony of ram temple in ayodh ya, mo di said ,“the congress and IN DI alliance are engaged in insultingo­ur faith. these people say our Sanatan is dengue and malaria. They are also staunch opponents of the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram built in Ayodhya. These people call the worship of Lord Shri Ram a sham.”
