‘Nafrat ki dukan will shut down now’: BJP takes aim at Opp
THIS ELECTION season, political parties across the spectrum are going out of their way to seek votes on ‘Ram ke naam’.
On Sunday, the Bharatiya Jan at aparty(bjp) held a mega programme at the IGI stadium to celebrate‘ Hindu Nav Varsh’ (Hindu New year) where s ever albjp leaders spoke of how the Narendra Modi government was a devotee of Ram and Delhi needs such a person at its helm. Last week, the A am aadmip arty( aap) launched a new website called‘ a a pk ar am Rajya’ to attract “Hindu voters” apart from highlighting work done by the government in Delhi.
In attendance at the BJP event were hundreds of sants and mahants, members of the party’s Hindu Mandir Prakosth (temple coordinator cell), all seven MP candidates, as well as the public.
Addressing the gathering, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said: “Our new year inspires us all to do something new... Earlier, there used tobe in difference to celebratingthe hindu new year ... the main reason for this is the government which was there before 2014... because the Congress had no inclination towards Hindu festivals ... Under the leadership of pm mo di, our tradition and culture is being celebrated at the world level...”
Taking a dig at the Congress, D ha mi also said ,“... we all remember
how because of the Congress and their rules, lords hr ir am was kept in a tent in Ayodhya but now our ra ml allah as finally returned to his palace and this is because of the Modi government...”
Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva, who organised the event, said ,“... kendra mai nb hi ram bhakt ka shashan hai ab Delhi bhi ram bhakt ka sanatan le kar aana hai( The centre already has ar am devotee at its helm, now we have to bring the sanatan of a Ram devotee to Delhi as well.)
Dhami also hit out at the INDIA Bloc: “Now as elections are approaching, some parties are pretending to go to temples... but we should not forget how these people earlier tried to de fame and disrespect our Sanatan Dharma... we have seen how Arvind Kejriwal and his AAP is working and (what it) has done in Delhi... now the time has come... ‘nafrat ki dukan band hone wali hai (the business of hatred will be closed)...” He appealed to the gathering to make PM Modi’s slogan, ‘Ab ki baar 400 par’, a reality by ensuring the party’ s candidates win all seven seats in Delhi.

While Modi ji is talking about Samaan Nagrik Sanhita... the Congress has announced Muslim personal law in its manifesto... Ye bahut sharamnaak hai (it’s very shameful)...”
Union Minister Piyush Goyal said, “... PM Modi has worked to enhance India’s culture, faith, and heritage along with India’s development...”
