KA BRU Forest

is a modern and luxurious interpretation of a tree house loft, built in the middle of the Atlantic rainforest, yet only 10 minutes outside of the charming fishing village of Itacaré and its surrounding beaches. This ultra-chic villa is a bright, tranquil and incredibly romantic holiday home, that eases and pleases your senses in many delightful ways. A single level loft style structure, it offers a breathtaking view over the spectacular rainforest looking into the sunset.

KA BRU Forest’s cutting-edge style enables a close-to-nature feel all round. Spectacular terraces and a seamless connection between the indoors and the outdoors provide a soulsoothing escape in the balmy tropical climate. Every room

offers opulence, comfort and incredible forest views. The open view terraces are covered by a traditional piassava roof that stretches across the entire front.

Besides a romantic hideaway, KA BRU Forest can also be booked as an individual adventure with a mix of activities alongside exciting food and cooking experiences. River rafting and kayaking to deserted beaches, waterfalls and hidden places, hiking and capoeira or surf classes will increase intensity throughout your week, framed by private yoga sessions and massages. KA BRU Forest is made from 70 years old demolition wood and was built into a natural opening of the jungle in order to keep the ecological footprint in this unique location as low as possible.

KA BRU River

is a two room villa situated in the middle of a 7-acre Facenda, or plantation, overlooking the river delta of Itacaré. It can be accessed by car or boat within 10 minutes from the village of Itacaré and its surrounding beaches. KA BRU River’s tropical architecture offers one of a kind views over the Atlantic rainforest. The stunning pool is situated high above the mangroves and offers an infinite panorama with the ever changing spectacular weather patterns. It has its own boat house and pier that lets you access the river directly by boat or the stand-up paddle board. The Facenda has its own cocoa plantation and all the fruit served are grown right here.

Various activities can be booked and organized on land and in water. Surf classes, kayaking, river rafting, fishing, hiking to deserted beaches and more.

KA BRU Beach in Barra Grande is an exotic beachfront Boutique Hotel located one hour north of KA BRU Forest & KA BRU River at the entrance of the Camamu Bay, the third largest bay in Brazil. The latest addition to the KA BRU Brazil concept, it is scheduled to open in June 2016. Situated just 30 meters from the waterfront with its own little private beach, KA BRU Beach offers six contemporarily designed rooms with their own terraces, spacious bathrooms and direct garden access. Aiming to set a new standard in terms of quality, comfort and service, KA BRU Beach is designed to have a languid, laid back atmosphere, with spacious gardens, a sprawling pool and a tranquil beach.

When you are in the mood for some action, KA BRU Beach has much to offer. Day trips in the hotel’s own boat to remote islands and beaches for private picnics, water-skiing in the bay, exploring the water in the hotel’s own stand up paddle boards, or wandering through the village of Barra Grande with its many endless beaches. The hotel can also organise day trips up the river Contas, professionally guided river raftings tours, surfing classes and much more

The peninsula of Marau, where KA BRU Beach is located, offers various activities on the shore and in the water. Close by is a beautiful natural preserved reef, Taipu de Fora, where you can dive through the natural reef channels and view the underwater denizens up close.

To really enjoy KA BRU Brazil, we recommend that you combine at least two or, if possible, all three locations during your trip, in order to experience its full glory.
