PROTEST MEETS OF HINDU OUT­FITS

Kozhikode: In a bid to de­clare Sabari­mala tem­ple a na­tional pil­grim cen­tre, the Ker­ala State Com­mit­tee of Fed­er­a­tion of Hindu Or­gan­i­sa­tions will take out a Par­lia­ment march and stage a dharna on Novem­ber 2. It has de­manded the cen­tral govern­ment to pass an or­di­nance to pro­tect the re­li­gious prac­tices and rit­u­als at Sabari­mala. The or­gan­i­sa­tion will or­gan­ise protest meets at Ra­jara­jeswara tem­ple premises in Kannur on Satur­day and at Pampa on Oc­to­ber 17. It also urged the state govern­ment to take ef­forts to ease the woes and con­cerns of Ayyappa devo­tees.
