The New Indian Express - - CHENNAI -

Chennai: Selection of a new Vice-Chancellor for Tamil Nadu Agricultural University should be fair and transparent, Anbumani Ramadoss, MP, said on Friday. In a statement, he said various allegations had been made in the selection of a new ViceChancellor for the university. It is also said names of several ineligible persons had been included in a draft candidates list for the post. This is condemnable, he said. Anbumani Ramadoss said the present selection committee should be dissolved and a new panel with academicians be constituted in order to select the ViceChancellor in a fair and transparent manner.
