BJP ob­serves "Ek Deep Sha­hee­don Ke Naam"

Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu and Kash­mir, cel­e­brated this Deep­awali as "Ek Deep Sha­hee­don Ke Naam" at its party head­quar­ter, Trikuta Na­gar.

BJP State Pres­i­dent Ravin­der Raina (MLA), MP (Lok Sabha) Ju­gal Kishore Sharma, MP (Ra­jya Sabha) Shamsher Singh Man­has, for­mer Dy. CM Kavin­der Gupta, BJP State Gen­eral Sec­re­tary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State Gen­eral Sec­re­taries Dr. Narinder Singh, Yud­hvir Sethi, State Spokesper­son & for­mer Min­is­ter Priya Sethi and other se­nior lead­ers lighted "Earthen Lamp" in the mem­ory of brave se­cu­rity per­sons who have sac­ri­ficed their lives in the hon­our of "Bharat Mata". While light­ing the Earthen Lamp, Ravin­der Raina said that Deep­awali is the one of the most sacred oc­ca­sions ob­served by Hin­dus. He said that it marks the tri­umph good over evil. He said that whilst the Raja Rama Chan­dra re­turned to his home­town, the sacred city of Ay­o­d­hya af­ter the de­feat of de­mon king Ra­vana, the res­i­dents of Ay­o­d­hya en­light­ened the en­tire path­way with lamps to greet their dear King. Raina added He said that on this holy day, we de­nounce the cow­ardly acts of Pak­istan and its spon­sored ter­ror­ists which take lives of over countless cit­i­zens and brave army men. While he took the op­por­tu­nity to greet the peo­ple on the aus­pi­cious oc­ca­sion, he also ap­pealed to ev­ery­one to light one lamp on the names of mar­tyrs as well.

Kavin­der Gupta, while greet­ing all the party work­ers on the oc­ca­sion, said that the among the fes­tiv­i­ties the oc­ca­sion teaches us how to be strong willed to fight for the right cause. He said that God Shree Ram is re­ferred to as "Maryada Pu­rushot­tam" as He teaches the right way to live and fight the wrongs. Ju­gal Kishore Sharma also greeted ev­ery­one on the aus­pi­cious oc­ca­sion of Deep­awali and said that this fes­ti­val prompts us to make our­selves stronger to fight the evils within as well as in the so­ci­ety. While light­ing the lamp he ap­pealed every­body to con­trib­ute in the Na­tion mak­ing.

Shamsher Singh Man­has, while greet­ing the masses on oc­ca­sion, asked all to pray for the peace on Earth and end the trou­bled times for those who bear the burnt of fire. He also said that we must in­cul­cate the de­sire of serv­ing the mother Earth in some use­ful way.
