Progress of land record dig­i­ti­za­tion re­viewed

Deputy Com­mis­sioner Mo­ham­mad Ai­jaz Asad today chaired a meet­ing of rev­enue of­fi­cers and re­viewed the progress of scan­ning of doc­u­ments, qual­ity check and up gra­da­tion of jam­a­bandies for dig­i­ti­za­tion of land record un­der Dig­i­tal India Land Record Mod­ern­iza­tion Pro­grams (DILRMP).

The ACR in­formed the meet­ing that 349 man­ual jam­a­bandies were no­ti­fied, of which 196 were com­pleted and process for com­plet­ing the re­main­ing is on.

The DDC em­pha­sized on to strictly fol­low the time­line fixed for the prepa­ra­tion of Jam­a­bandies and scan­ning of all pend­ing rev­enue records.

The con­cerned were di­rected to hold weekly and fort­nightly meetings to re­view the progress of prepa­ra­tion of Jam­a­bandies.

Bot­tle­necks in the im­ple­men­ta­tion of Dig­i­tal India Land Record Mod­ern­iza­tion pro­gramme were also dis­cussed.

The DC di­rected the tehsil­dars to iden­tify the space for setting up com­puter cen­tre/data cen­tre /Mod­ern Record room at Tehsil level and also de­pute at least one em­ployee to NIC to learn the dig­itl­iza­tion and upgra­da­tion of doc­u­ments. The meet­ing was at­tended by ADC Sher Singh, ADC Ko­tranka Ved Parkash, ACR, Mo­ham­mad Ashraf, all Tehsil­dars of the dis­trict and other rev­enue func­tionar­ies.
