It also re­veals large gaps be­tween to­day’s lead­ers — com­pa­nies that al­ready un­der­stand and have adopted AI — and laggards.* Adop­tion of AI is no longer an op­tion for busi­nesses.

The im­pact of com­pa­nies adopt­ing au­toma­tion tech­nolo­gies is al­ready be­ing felt through­out the econ­omy. In the com­ing years, as these tech­nolo­gies be­come cheaper, more ca­pa­ble, and wide­spread, they will find even more ap­pli­ca­tions.
