Sources said that British agencies have already issued a travel advisory warning its citizens to not to visit Turkey because of a very strong possibility of a series of terror attacks by ISIS there.

“Support for ISIS in India has definitely increased in the last 4-5 months, and even though the government does not want to make much noise about it, we are aware of the threat and doing our jobs. As of now, most ISIS supporters in India are only showing their support online,” the official stated.

At present, embassies in the national capital are guarded by a temporary unit called the Diplomatic Security Force, which was formed in 1973 with personnel police borrowed from police posts of New Delhi district and other Delhi Police battalions as well as central paramilitary forces. It is headed by a junior-ranking deputy commissioner, with an assistant commissioner and one inspector supervising the unit.
