JAGRAN FILM FESTIVAL IN DELHI FROM 1-5 JULY

Jagran Film Festival, a travelling film festival, will debut this year from 1-5 July in Delhi at Siri Fort Auditorium and plans to travel over 17 cities in the next three months. Festival goers can watch films under the categories Indian Feature, Top Shorts, Jagran Shorts, Cinema of the Sellers and Debut Directors. Masaan by Neeraj Ghaywan will be headlining the festival, and last year’s Oscar favourite Birdman and Alex De Iglesia’s Shrew’s Nest will be among the feature films being screened. 1 Man 8 Cameras, French films Leftover and Your Heart at Random, Korean films Hosanna and Minsu Kim in Wonderland, Dutch film Démontable, Persian short Futile Garden will be screened in the Top Shorts category. Anjum Rajabali will conduct a screenwrit­ing workshop, Krishhna Murthy and Somnath Sen will have a still photograph­y and film workshop and filmmaker Subhash Ghai will have a session on film-making.
