CHANNING TATUM FORCED TO ACT IN GI JOE: RISE OF COBRA

The Magic Mike XXL actor was forced to play GI Joe because of his three-movie contract with Paramount Cinemas. Tatum wanted to play Snake Eyes, and he was disappointed when he got to know that he would be playing GI Joe himself. However, the production house informed him that he was contract bound, and they would sue him for damages if he refused to play it. Tatum said, “Look, I’ll be honest. I f**king hate that movie. I hate that movie. From Coach Carter, they signed me to a three-picture deal… They give you the contract and they go, ‘Three-picture deal, here you go.’ And as a young [actor], you’re like, ‘ Oh my god, that sounds amazing, I’m doing that!’”
