KINGPIN OF FAKE CURRENCY RACKET HELD IN BENGAL
KOLKATA: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday arrested the kingpin of a fake Indian currency note (FICN) racket from Malda district in West Bengal, a senior official said. Later, he was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). “Ripon Seikh alias Litan, the mastermind in several cases of fake currency trafficking, was apprehended by the BSF from Bapchera village in Malda’s Baishnab Nagar area on Saturday morning,” a BSF official said. According to BSF sources, they were notified about Seikh’s activities by the NIA.
