Amazon’s alexa is the new biggie in tech race

LAS VEGAS: Alexa, Amazon’s voice assistant, dominated the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 in Las Vegas. Much like Amazon Echo, which is a wireless home speaker, Alexa can be ordered to follow the user’s commands, depending upon the applications he might be using. Alexa made its public debut in June 2015, but Amazon went a step ahead to make it easier for other hardware and software makers to be able to connect Alexa to their applications. Experts now believe that Alexa has given Amazon an edge over its other rivals like Google.
