Reply: The Indian real estate market is expected to touch US$ 180 billion by 2020. The housing sector alone contribute­s 5-6 per cent to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Retail, hospitalit­y and commercial real estate are also growing significan­tly, providing the much-needed infrastruc­ture for India’s growing needs.

But to keep pace with the ever changing needs of the customers it is imperative for the industry to accelerate its pace of adoption of Innovation and disruptive technologi­es. Brigade Real Estate Accelerato­r Program (REAP) has been conceptual­ized to combine resources within the group, as well as with partners & associates to add value to young companies and help them build innovative and path breaking companies from India.

With the help of the enrolled startups, Brigade REAP will explore solu- tions in the fields of:

Smart homes, Smart communitie­s, Smart Cities, Home Automation, Building Management Systems, Analytics & Enterprise Data Management, Constructi­on Management etc.

To address issues faced in logistics & supply chain, improved efficiency etc. 4: The concept of a cluster of Office/Commercial space along with sizeable residentia­l ial infrastruc­ture is gaining ground , given thehe traffic and other challenges . Do you haveve any plans to come out with such combined projects in the near future?
