INDIA, PAK TRADE FIRE ON LOC

JAMMU: The Indian and Pakistani armies traded fire on the Line of Control (LoC) on Saturday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, a defence spokesman said. “The Pakistan Army violated ceasefire at around 9 a.m., by resorting to unprovoked firing on the LoC in Sunderbani area,” Defence Ministry spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Devender Anand said here. “Indian positions retaliated effectivel­y and there were no reports of casualty or damage from our side.”
