Q. How has the digital space helped you to establish yourself as an independen­t artiste?

A. Digitalisa­tion has opened many avenues for new talent. I would like to give all the credit to the digital space, as it has given me a platform to showcase my music and creativity to the audiences and music lovers.

Q. What encouraged you to take up music as a career? A. My school had a very strong music culture and has produced many popular artists in the music industry like KK, Loy, to name a few. While growing up, I was strongly influenced by this music culture and wanted to take up music as a career. I started practicing music at a very young age. I experiment­ed with instrument­s, learned various instrument­s and by college, I had taken the final call of being a musician.

Q. Describe yourself in three words. A. Foodie, passionate and travel-addict.

Q. What advice do you want to give to amateur musicians who want to break into the music industry? A. One’s music is a reflection of one’s own self. Hence, I will only advise them to listen to their heart and follow their dreams. Be true to your music and take criticism in a positive manner.

Q. Do you have any favourite genre that you want to establish yourself in?

A. Sufi rock and pop rock are my favourites. In addition to that, I want to create my own genre and I will call it, “New Indie Rock”.
