Based on the theme of rediscovering old-world Indian culinary heritage, Made in India, is a fine-dining restaurant of Radisson Blu MBD, Noida. The place is a perfect stop for all the food lovers who appreciate traditional Indian food. Known for the royal cuisines, the ambience is also no different. From the elegant and antique looking furniture to the vast ceiling with ancient mantras written all over, to the classical music in the backdrop, it all really sways one to a different time. It gives quite soothing and welcoming vibes to the patrons, which adds to a good dining experience.

The place has a well-crafted food menu which boasts of serving “home-like” food with less oil and spices. We started our evening with a variety of starters as per the chef ’s recommendation. The variety and quality of starters served to us was laudable. This delectable array included Navrattan Kebab made from several veggies and nuts, Murgh Tawa Kebab—chicken and Bengal gram patties infused with green chilli, Kumbh Gilavat— mushroom kebab, Bharwa Paneer—a house specialty made from deep-fried cottage cheese marinated with gram flour, turmeric, ginger and spices, stuffed with pine apple and so on. The lavishing and mouth-watering starters proved to be a great start for our meal.

This was followed by main course which had many options for breads, curries, dal and biryani. Among the other offerings, Paneer Mirchi ka Kheema, Mutton Korma, Malabar Fish Curry, Aloo ki Katli are completely a treat to your taste buds. In breads too, they have quite an interesting list that includes Broccoli Cheese Kulcha, Lal Mirch ka Paratha, Khurmi Naan, Keema Kulcha and so on.

Moving on to the desserts for the day, we were served lip-smacking Gajjar ka Halwa. The menu also offers Homemade Malai Kulfi, Phirnee, Chocolate Rasmalai and Gulukand Jamun. With all the sumptuous entrees, they also offer a variety of drinks—from cocktails to mocktails to straight alcohol, they have it all covered. Speaking about the hospitality and presentation, without a doubt it was remarkable. It is a good venue if you are planning any formal office dinner or a family get-together. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience for me and I will recommend it to everyone who is big on traditional Indian food. Radisson Blu has already established a name for itself in the hospitality segment and now with this restaurant, it effortlessly lives up to the expectations. —Priya Singh
