MSY’s bahu Aparna bats for Shiv­pal’s party

Luc­know: The wran­gling in UP’s Ya­dav fam­ily just took an­other turn af­ter Mu­layam Singh Ya­dav’s other daugh­terin-law Aparna sought for­ti­fi­ca­tion of rebel leader Shiv­pal Ya­dav’s new party while shar­ing stage with her here on Satur­day.

“I want that Sa­maw­jadi Sec­u­lar Mor­cha pro­gresses. Af­ter my fa­ther-in-law, if there is re­spect for any other strong po­lit­i­cal leader, it is my un­cle (Shiv­pal),” said Aparna. Her com­ments came barely 24 hours af­ter Mu­layam him­self shared space with Shiv­pal in an event mark­ing the death an­niver­sary of so­cial­ist leader and SP ide­o­logue Dr Ram Manohar Lo­hia here on Fri­day.

She made these re­marks while at­tend­ing an event or­ga­nized by the Rashtriya Kran­tikari Sa­ma­jwadi Party in Luc­know.
