Nitin Gadkari undergoes tests, reports normal
Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari is okay after he took rest from a gruelling schedule. All social appointments were cancelled and he underwent a full medical check-up at a private hospital in Nagpur. His staff and family said the reports were normal and there was no cause for worry.
Cardiologist Harshwardhan Mardikar, who examined Gadkari on Saturday at his hospital in Dhantoli, said the tests did not indicate anything to panic or worry. “His tests were normal and he is fine,” Dr Mardikar said.
Gadkari had fainted at the fag end of a convocation at Rahuri on Friday.
