Vadra fountainhead of corruption: BJP

The Times of India (Mumbai edition) - - TIMES NATION -

The BJP on Saturday slammed Congress for its criticism of the ED raids against associates of Robert Vadra, calling the brother-in-law of Rahul Gandhi as “fountainhead of corruption”. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said Congress used to call Vadra a private citizen after his name cropped up in corruption cases but now the whole party stands behind him. BJP defended raids by the investigation agency, claiming that independent institutions are working in tandem with the Constitution under the Modi government and “law is taking its own course”. “Congress feels corruption was its birthright. Under the Modi government, those who are corrupt are being investigated and this has sent a sense of insecurity in the Congress quarters,” he said.
