It’s go­ing to get colder over next few days

Mum­bai: Min­i­mum tem­pera- tures on Sun­day dipped com­pared to Satur­day and max­i­mum tem­per­a­tures marginally rose.

Ac­cord­ing to the In­dia Me­te­o­ro­log­i­cal De­part­ment (IMD), San­tazcruz’s min­i­mum tem­per­a­ture of 14 de­gree Cel­sius was 2.9 de­gree be­low nor­mal and also over 1 de­gree Cel­sius lower com­pared to Satur­day. Co­laba recorded a min­i­mum of 18 de­gree Cel­sius, 1.1 de­gree Cel­sius be­low nor­mal.

Weather­men said min­i­mum tem­per­a­tures would fall by 2-4 de­gree Cel­sius over north­west In­dia from Mon­day till Jan­uary16.

Mean­while, max­i­mum tem­per­a­ture saw an in­crease on Sun­day. Max­i­mum tem­per­a­ture recorded by the IMD Co­laba ob­ser­va­tory was 29 de­gree Cel­sius, while the Santa Cruz ob­ser­va­tory recorded 30.3 de­gree Cel­sius, al­most a de­gree be­low nor­mal. This is higher than Satur­day’s 27.8 and 19.7 de­gree Cel­sius re­spec­tively.
