T raffic on the ThaneBelapur road and old Mumbai-Pune highway was affected on Sunday morning when a dumper truck got trapped beneath the under-construction Kalwa flyover. The truck’s hydraulic bed rose accidentally, and pulled the vehicle back onto the road at 8.15 pm on February 10,11,12 and 13, said an official statement issued from WR headquarters in Mumbai. The train will depart from Sawai Madhopur at 1.45 pm for Bandra Terminus on February 10,11,12,13 and 14 in the return direction. While seven long-distance trains have been cancelled for February 11, five have been cancelled for February 12 and eight for February 13, said Western Railway chief spokesperson Ravinder Bhakar. He said passenger help desks have been set up at Mumbai Central, Bandra Terminus, Borivali,Surat, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot and Indore. “Passengers are being informed about the cancellations and diversions via bulk messages which are sent to their registered mobile numbers. Refunds will be given to those who had booked tickets on trains which now stand cancelled,” he said.
