New Delhi: The protest by leader of opposition Vijender Gupta, BJP legislator M S Sirsa, MP Pravesh Verma and AAP rebel Kapil Sharma continued at the CM office in Delhi Secretariat on Thursday. The politicians said that the protest would continue till chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his ministers resume work and ensure that all issues are resolved.

Gupta slammed Kejriwal saying the letter written by him to PM Narendra Modi seeking his intervention to end the so-called strike by IAS officers is a political gimmick aimed at covering the AAP government’s misgovernance, inaction and failure to perform. “The CM is also covering his unconstitutional and illegal activities in this manner,” he added.

“All secretaries are required to submit weekly reports to the ministers concerned under Rule 17 of Transaction of Business Rules. We dare the government to make the reports public. It will expose their claim that officers are on strike for the last four months,” Gupta said.
