The Times of India (New Delhi edition) - - TIMES CITY -

Gurgaon: Police had dug out skeletal remains from near the Akhileshwar temple in Gwalior after alleged paedophile and serial killer Sunil confessed to a rape-murder at the spot but are having a hard time identifying the body. They hit a road block after forensic analysis could not specify the sex of the victim. However, it did establish the victim’s age between five-seven years. Gwalior police suspect that the bones belong to a five-year-old girl, who was abducted from a bhandara near the temple in 2013. Interrogating Sunil would provide a clearer picture, said Gwalior police who have now obtained permission to take Sunil, who is currently lodged in Bhondsi jail. Police said, “We will take Sunil on production remand from December 17 as per directions of the court. We can verify our suspicions in the case only after questioning him.”
