The Times of India (New Delhi edition) - - TIMES CITY -

New Delhi: After four of his Ola cabs went out of business, a 26-year-old man decided to steal cabs. Using forged SIM cards, he would book a cab ride late at night and then steal it at gunpoint.

The robber, Prince Verma, was nabbed on Saturday along with his associate Aman Veera from outer Delhi’s Nangloi. Cops also recovered a stolen Swift Dzire and two country-made pistols.

DCP (west) Monika Bhardwaj said they are investigating the case further. The gang came on the cop’s radar when a cab was stolen at gunpoint near a Delhi University college in Rajouri Garden on Friday. Cops got to know that the robbers are hiding in Nangloi and conducted a raid hours after the incident, leading to their arrest.
