5 from NCR held for ruckus in train
Agra: Five men from Delhi and Gurgaon travelling in New Delhi-Indore Intercity Express were arrested for drinking and creating ruckus inside AC I coach on Sunday. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Union HRD minister Ramesh Pokhariyal ‘Nishank’ were travelling in the adjacent coupe. Birla’s assistant lodged a complaint after which Railway Protection Force and Government Railway Police swung into action.
Police say that the five travelling in H1 coach were going to Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga and arrested at 1.10 am after the train reached Mathura junction. On Monday, the five were produced before the Mathura railway magistrate court where they were given dates to appear to pay fine.
