War­riors pip U Mumba

Kolkata: Bengal War­riors main­tained their un­beaten run at home, edg­ing past U Mumba 29-26 in a thrilling con­test at the Ne­taji In­door Sta­dium on Wed­nes­day.

With 53 points from 15 matches, sec­ond-placed War­riors now trail lead­ers Da­bang Delhi by six points in PKL-7. U Mumba re­mained in fifth place with 43 points.

Jaipur, Haryana share spoils:

Ear­lier in the evening, Jaipur Pink Pan­thers and Haryana Steel­ers shared spoils in a closely-fought duel in which fortunes fluc­tu­ated till the end. Jaipur con­trolled pro­ceed­ings in the fi­nal min­utes of the con­test and threat­ened to up­stage Haryana be­fore set­tling for a 32-32 verdict.
