Apple enthusiasts will be able to buy the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, priced Rs 64,900 onwards, from September 27. The company has also lowered prices of its older models with the iPhone 7 (32GB) available at Rs 29,900.

Agreeing to hear the plea of a man challenging the inter-religious marriage of his daughter on the ground that the man had converted to Hinduism just for the wedding, the SC said there is nothing wrong in inter-religious or inter-caste marriages but the interest of girls must be protected. It said a girl should not be made to suffer in such cases and the man must be loyal to her. “Such marriages should be encouraged. But we are concerned about her future and on the issue of how to protect her interest,” it said.
