Two held for Nand Na­gri shop fir­ing

New Delhi: Two mem­bers of the Anil Du­jana gang who had opened fire at a mo­bile­phone dealer’s shop in north­east Delhi’s Nand Na­gri for not pay­ing ex­tor­tion money have been ar­rested.

The in­ci­dent was captured on a CCTV cam­era in which one of the men was seen fir­ing out­side the shop. The busi­ness­man claimed that he had re­ported about the threats to po­lice ear­lier, af­ter which the in­ci­dent took place. He had been asked to pay Rs 50 lakh to the gang.

DCP (north-east) Ved Prakash Surya said that dur­ing ques­tion­ing, ac­cused Amit and Saroj Ya­dav said that Du­jana had handed over the con­tact num­ber and name of the busi­ness­man and asked them to call him for money.
